Bridging Access to Care, Inc, is a nonprofit, multi-service community-based organization dedicated to providing
comprehensive clinical treatment, evidence-based prevention education and harm reduction, care coordination, and mental health services in a
trauma informed/sensitive environment for individuals within at-risk communities in New York City.
Prep & Pep CampaignBridging Access to Care (BAC) believes in informing our clients about all of the health options available to them so they may choose the tools that suit them best and keep them happy and healthy. Reach out to the staff in our PrEP/PEP program to learn if PrEP/PEP is the right choice for you. We would be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding PrEP or PEP, how it works, financial assistance programs available to pay for its cost, and the steps necessary to stay on PrEP or PEP. If you’ve already decided PrEP/PEP is the form of HIV prevention for you, we can even provide you with a referral to a clinic near you that is knowledgeable and experienced in prescribing PrEP/PEP.
BAC provides services to over +5,000 individuals a yearWith well over eighty qualified staff who have a wide range of experience, the BAC staff mirror the ethnic and minority communities we serve; 90% of our line staff are African American, Caribbean American or Latino, as well as 68% of our senior staff, and 70% of our board of directors!
