(Monday, June 6, 2016) – Today, Bridging Access to Care is proud to announce that Nadine Ranger-Akinyemi, Director of Social Support Services, has been promoted to Deputy Executive Director effective immediately. Nadine will be responsible for the effective implementation and management of BAC programs and administration. She will work with the senior management team on agency-wide strategic planning issues, marketing/public relations and related resource development activities including Quality Improvement and Human Resources.
Nadine, has more than 24 years of experience in the health care field particularly in HIV/AIDS. Her tenure in the health field involved patient care, program development and research in both hospital and community-based environments. She is a Brooklyn College Alumni, and holds a Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) and Informatics from the University of Phoenix. Nadine has been a director of health services at Bridging Access to Care Since 2001. Since then, her title and responsibilities have changed several times.
Nadine developed and implemented the first three performance based contracts (HIV Testing, Co-factors, and Harm Reduction) procured by BAC (formerly Brooklyn AIDS Task Force) and she was the director of the social support services department until recently. Her policy acumens especially in Total Quality Management and Improvement lays her foundation for strong management teams. She successfully designed BAC’s first trauma informed module for its electronic health record system. Nadine is a published author, and a Clinical Associate at the New York Technical College School of Nursing.
